Its proximity—around 1.4 km—to the Takashimadaira Interchange on the Metropolitan Expressway Route 5 Ikebukuro Line further enhances its appeal as a logistics hub.

Within a 30-minute driving radius, the facility will serve a population of approximately 4.1 million people, spanning key Tokyo wards including Itabashi, Nerima, and Nakano, making it an ideal base for last-mile delivery operations.

A Flexible, Next-Generation Urban Logistics Facility

The planned “Prologis Urban Tokyo Itabashi 1” will be an urban, multi-tenant logistics facility featuring five above-ground floors and a total floor area of approximately 12,850 square meters (about 138,300 sq ft) on a 4,000-square-meter (43,000 sq ft) site. Completion is scheduled for late 2028, with tenant leasing now underway.

Designed with flexibility in mind, the facility will offer rental units starting at around 100 tsubo (approximately 330 square meters / 3,550 sq ft)—considered among the smallest modular spaces available in central Tokyo logistics properties. This allows tenants to scale operations efficiently while accommodating future growth.

The building will include:

• A vehicle-accessible ground floor for deliveries

• Shared cargo elevators and loading/unloading zones

• Enhanced electrical capacity beyond typical logistics standards

• Full air-conditioning throughout warehouse spaces, enabling diverse usage
