Federal Agency for Fisheries outlines strategic roadmap to boost domestic production and secure critical supply chains by 2030 MOSCOW — Russia’s seafood sector is experiencing a powerful dual momentum as wild-catch volumes surge past historical milestones while industry leaders orchestrate a high-tech overhaul of the nation's commercial aquaculture infrastructure. According to the latest data from the Federal Agency for Fisheries (Rosrybolovstvo) industry monitoring system, all Russian users accumulated a massive catch of more than 1.8 million tons of aquatic bioresources as of May 12. The vast majority of this yield was driven by the ultra-productive Far Eastern fishery basin, which contributed 1,515.2 thousand tons to the national total.
